Melbourne Youth Fellowship About Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship of the Melbourne Mar Thoma Church is a community of young individuals who come from all over Melbourne to learn how to be followers of Jesus & worship him together.
As the Youth group of Melbourne Mar Thoma Church our mission is to foster in our young adults a strong spiritual foundation through scripture, engage in meaningful community outreach to serve and uplift others, and passionately invest in our church's growth, cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community of faith.
Youth Activities
Our youth group are responsible for running the following events:
1. Bible Study on the 2nd Thursday of every month at church, starting at 7pm.
2. Youth Service on the 2nd Sunday of every month at church, starting at 10.45am.
3. Youth Social, which is run directly after the Youth Service. A typical youth social includes games, food and a time to catch up with friends.
Aside from our monthly bible study’s and services, our youth group also participates in a range of other events these include:
Community outreach events such as food drives, beach clean ups
Annual youth camp with all Marthoma Churches in Australia.
Retreats and sporting events with the St Thomas Ecumenical Fellowship of Melbourne
